Germonds Presbyterian Church, 200-member congregation, seeks a dynamic part-time choral/music director to develop, plan, and implement a new innovative church music program.  Position requires a wide knowledge of sacred music including traditional, Christian contemporary, gospel, and blended styles. Proficiency in recruiting, training and directing choirs and instrumentalists of all ages. Develop and support congregational singing. One Sunday service, special services, weekly evening rehearsals and monthly planning meetings. Ability to interact with organist, pastor, church staff and the worship team in planning and presenting music for worship. Applicants should have a degree in Music Education. Piano skills a plus. Salary contingent on experience.
