BROOKLYN’S FIRST PEDALS, PIPES, AND PIZZA A RINGING SUCCESS

Join us Saturday, November 22, 2008, the Brooklyn Chapter hosted its first “Pedals, Pipes and Pizza” program.

Designed to introduce young folks to the King of Instruments in a fun, family-friendly, and educational way, this program got kids from Manhattan and Brooklyn to the five-manual Skinner organ at St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn Heights. John Klauder, Gregory Eaton, Raymond Trapp, and others crafted an outstanding day that included demonstrations, videos, performances, hands-on time at the organ, bagels and yes, excellent Brooklyn pizza!

Now, the chapter is trying to figure out how to deal with the grown-ups who wanted to come!
