The Bach to Brooklyn Tour is a very popular annual event in which local organists and organ enthusiasts are invited to visit historic organs in historic churches in the borough of Brooklyn.  Historian Andrew Dolkart provides an entertaining and informative lecture on the history and architecture of each church as well as some relevant context about the surrounding neighborhood.  The lecture is followed by a performance on the organ, either by the resident organist or by one of the Brooklyn Chapter’s board members, featuring works by Bach and demonstrating some of the outstanding features of the instrument.

The 2017 Bach to Brooklyn Tour will be Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
